The day I planned my Cousin's Family Portrait Session in Rockwall, Texas, her daughter asked if she could bring her Polaroid Camera. Of course I said yes, and together, we went through our Camera Bag Checklist. I had spare memory cards, she had spare film... etc. She looked at my camera case and then back up at me. With a little re-arranging we were able to fit her camera in right alongside mine. After their family portrait session in Harry Myers Park was wrapped up, it was her turn. I watched as she posed her family members and eagerly awaited for the film to develop. She used phrases that I had been using during our session and yes - it was very strange to hear! As much as I love all of these pictures because well, they are members of my own family, I especially love the joy captured over that little toy camera. I'll be returning this month and I can't wait to see some of these images we captured that day as canvas wraps hanging gallery style on the wall. Contact me to book your family portrait session in Rockwall from October 16th-19th!
